On one side the color grey symbolizes sadness and depression, and on the other side red demonstrates a warm and colorful atmosphere. The strong trees brave the stormy season. This is fall for me.

Dark red is associated with vigor, willpower, rage, anger, leadership, courage.
Reddish-brown is associated with harvest and fall.

I love how the reflection of the trees make them seem like they are floating in water a bit and how that contrasts with the autumnal colors since blue is normally associated with water. It's interesting how those colors give the painting a cozy feel yet are usually colors associated with anger. I feel more calm looking at the painting. Beautiful Katja!
